Another Receipe to Try

Blueberry Lemon Trifle

Sour Cream Angel Food Cake
2 cups lemon pie filling **
8 oz. Cool Whip
4 cups blueberries
In a large glass bowl or trifle bowl layer the following and repeat depending on how tall your bowl is:
Cubed Angel Food cake
lemon mixture
Cool Whip
Blueberries
Refrigerate 2 hours
**Sheila made it the first time with the lemon pie filling but felt it was too rich so the next time she mixed 2 pkgs of lemon instant pudding and let it sit for 10 minutes or so and then folded in 2 containers of low fat lemon yogurt for her lemon mixture. She says it's lower in fat and light and airy.
Bon Appetit!

End of Season

Hello! Hope everyone has enjoyed the blueberries this year! I know I have. As August nears, so does the end of blueberry season.

There are still blueberries on the bush, but we will no longer be picking and going to market.

Thank you for your business and we will see you next year!

ENJOY your Berries!!!!

Receipes

I posted receipes last month but I was at the market today and learned something new to do with my berries:

Freeze them and put honey over them... eat them while there still frozen and they taste YUMMY!!! Kinda like ice cream.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Berries are In

The berries look good this year, and better yet they taste delicious. We still have berries, but not for long. We are hoping to get to the market two or three more times this season.

Hope to see there!
